In December 2021, the Oversight Trust commissioned Campbell Tickell to perform an external Board review. The Board felt that its new structure (established in 2020) had had sufficient time to be embedded and, despite the fact that, because of the pandemic, most of the Board meetings had been conducted remotely on video conference calls, it would be a good time for fresh eyes to look at the Oversight Trust Board’s effectiveness. As the Oversight Trust’s role is to look at the governance of the operating companies receiving English dormant asset monies, and in the interests of transparency, we believe it is appropriate to publish the Conclusions and Recommendations of the report on the publications section of this website.
