Seb Elsworth will leave his role as CEO of Access after 11 years to join the Queen Elizabeth Trust. He has been Access’ first CEO since it was set up in 2015.
Seb has overseen Access’s establishment and growth, tripling the foundation’s resources and reaching more than 3,800 charities and social enterprises since its creation in 2015.
Vaughan Lindsay, Chair of The Oversight Trust, says:
“Seb Elsworth has been an exceptional leader of Access since its inception in 2015. He has played a defining role in building it into a trusted and influential institution, helping thousands of charities and social enterprises secure the support and finance they need to strengthen communities across England.
“His commitment to ensuring dormant assets deliver meaningful social impact, particularly for organisations and places too often overlooked by mainstream finance, has left a lasting legacy. We are grateful for the clarity of purpose, collaboration and ambition he has brought to this work, and we wish him every success in his new role. We also look forward to working with Neil Berry as interim CEO as Access builds on the strong foundations Seb leaves behind.”
