Kevin Davis (Non-Executive Director and Link Director for Access)
Kevin Davis DL is a social entrepreneur based in the Black Country, working across education, employment, community development and social investment. He is Group Chief Executive of the Vine Trust Group, a development trust operating at the intersection of the voluntary, community, public and business sectors.
Kevin is the co-founder and Chair of the Mercian Trust, a multi-academy trust serving around 10,000 students. He specifically founded Walsall Studio School and the Ladder School, two of the Mercian's founding schools, and also chairs the Ladder Foundation, whose apprenticeship campaigns have helped generate over 10,000 apprenticeship opportunities.
He holds a number of non-executive, trustee and civic roles across health, housing, education, faith and community empowerment, including with Business in the Community, Black Country Housing Group, and the Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull NHS Integrated Care Board cluster, where his portfolio includes the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector.
He also serves as a Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands and is a Visiting Industrial Fellow at Aston Business School.
Kevin is a Non-Executive Director of The Oversight Trust and Link Director for Access, serving also on the Quadrennial Review Team.
